The Light up a Life service will include readings, choir performances, moments of reflection, and moving prayers. Your contribution to the Oregon Hospice & Palliative Care Association will help you celebrate the lives of loved ones during the holiday season and help us continue to promote and ensure access to high quality hospice and palliative care for all Oregonians. Bristol Hospice provides bereavement services in all of our communities at no cost. Light Up a Life Purchase a symbolic light in honor or memory of someone special. The Foundation would like thank our sponsors, donors, attendees, staff and volunteers who support our Light Up A Life events. A donation form can be printed by opening the attachment below. For a suggested $10 donation an ornament with your loved ones name will be placed on our Tree of Live and if received prior to the event date their name will be read during the Celebration.

The Celebration is free to attend and open to everyone, not just those touched by hospice care. Light up a Life 2022 Breathe deeply and let your heart be filled with memories of your loved one. Candle lightings take place at all outdoor events. The Tree of Life is adorned with ornaments representing a light in memory of loved ones and friends. The celebration includes a personal reflection by a family whose used hospice services for a loved one, the reading of the memorial names by hospice team members & volunteers, inspirational music, and the lighting of our Tree of Life. All proceeds from light donations help provide hospice services in your local community. A time for celebration, joy, and laughter, but for others it is a time of reflection as they remember a loved one.
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for so many of us. Our Light Up a Life appeal is a very special and heart-warming way to remember the life of someone close to you.

Each year Bristol Hospice Foundation of CA hosts several local remembrance celebrations throughout California during the month of December and invites the community to sponsor a light on our Tree of Life memory of a loved one or to honor someone living.
